We have begun learning parts of speech in first grade!  After learning that nouns are people, places, or things, we moved on to verbs!  Verbs are fun to learn about because we get to do them.  We played some Simon Says to review different verbs.  We also did a silly verb dance!

Finally, we watched the classic Schoolhouse Rock verb song.  Sing along at home!
